Speaking Up for Opportunity: PVJOBS at the Board of Supervisors

Team PVJOBS took a group of students to the L.A. County Board of Supervisors to peacefully demonstrate in support of the LA:RISE program. The demonstration aimed to oppose proposed cuts and highlight the program’s vital role in addressing homelessness and supporting individuals with employment barriers. LA:RISE provides access to jobs, training, and essential support services—making a meaningful impact in our community. W e were proud to take our students and stand together in support of a pr ogram that helps change lives. At PVJOBS, we’re committed to always doing our best for our students, our people, and the communities we serve. The faces of PVJOBS reflect strength, resilience, and hope—and it’s their stories that inspire everything we do.
